September at a glance.

Meta generated more landing-page visits at a lower cost, while Google Ads clicks became more expensive. Confirming enquiry outcomes remains the priority.

Clinic patients

77 new patients recorded.

The clinic recorded 77 new patients, compared with 83 in August. This is the clinic-wide total, separate from campaign enquiries.

Paid marketing

More efficient Meta traffic.

Meta delivered 614 landing-page views at $0.73 each, down from $1.36 in August. Google Ads generated 160 clicks and 63 conversion actions.

Priority

Booking outcomes need updates.

All 28 September Google Ads opportunities remain at New Lead. Reception’s updates in the Shoutout app are essential to confirming bookings and identifying follow-up needs.

03

New patient numbers.

September recorded 77 new patients: 6 fewer than August (−7.2%) and 4 fewer than September last year (−4.9%).

Enquiry follow-up supports the next stage of growth.

September’s call analysis identifies interest in check-ups and emergency care. Prompt follow-up with prospective patients and accurate booking updates are the immediate opportunities to support patient growth.

04

Google Ads enquiries and booking progress.

All 28 opportunities registered in September came from Google Ads. These include enquiries from both new and existing patients.

Booking interest needs a confirmed outcome.

17 enquiries indicate readiness to book, but all opportunities remain at New Lead. Reception needs to check the Shoutout app regularly, confirm bookings against patient records, update pipeline stages and follow up with enquiries that still need an appointment.

05

Most calls connected.

34 of 36 inbound calls had a recorded connection. The remaining two have no duration, so their outcome needs confirmation.

The next priority is what happens after the call.

Reception needs to confirm the outcomes of connected calls and check the two calls without duration for any follow-up needs. The connection rate uses a different measure from August’s answer rate, so the two are not directly comparable.

06

Landing-page views count recorded page loads, not unique people or bookings.

Team introductions and treatment explanations showed promise.

The team and missing-tooth carousels generated more landing-page views at lower cost than the straighter-smile ad. Our next creative tests build on these themes, with a clear prompt to call and booking outcomes assessed through reception’s updates.

07

Search traffic became more expensive.

The New Patients + Emergency campaign generated 160 clicks, down from 201 in August, on similar spend.

Button clicks and phone taps are actions, not confirmed bookings or patients. One person may trigger more than one action.

The key question is the quality of the resulting enquiries.

A slightly higher click-through rate did not offset the higher cost per click. Our focus is on how Google Ads enquiries progress to bookings, using reception’s Shoutout app updates to assess results beyond clicks.

Combined Google and Meta advertising spend was $2,450.91.

08

Channel counts total 1,177, one fewer than the overall session total. Percentages are rounded.

Paid social drove the increase.

Paid social added 200 sessions, while organic search fell by 78. Social traffic now accounts for half of website visits.

Engaged visits grew more slowly.

Engaged sessions rose from 399 to 416, but total visits grew faster, lowering the engagement rate. Our next website review focuses on helping more visitors take the next step to an enquiry.

Most visits were on mobile.

Mobile accounted for 926 sessions, about 79% of visits. Clear contact options and easy-to-read treatment information remain important.

Website enquiry activityAugustSeptember
Recorded lead-type events5057

Lead-type events are website actions, not verified bookings. This website’s analytics exclude the separate Google Ads landing page, so its 4 paid-search sessions do not represent all Google Ads traffic.

09

Campaign landing-page call activity.

The campaign continues to use the same landing page as August.

Landing-page calls

24 tracked calls.

24 calls were linked to the campaign landing page and attributed to paid Google traffic. Calls may include repeat callers and existing patients.

Phone enquiries

Bookings happen through calls.

Reception’s role is to confirm appointments, update the Shoutout app pipeline and follow up with patients who still need help booking.

Paid traffic

Clicks and visits are separate measures.

Google Ads recorded 160 clicks. Meta recorded 614 landing-page views across its ad destinations; these are not a count of visits to this Google Ads page.

10

September campaign highlights.

Meta traffic efficiency improved, and 34 calls recorded a connection.

Meta efficiency

$0.73 per landing-page view.

Meta generated 614 views, more than double August’s total, while the cost per view fell from $1.36.

Phone enquiries

34 calls with a recorded connection.

34 of 36 calls had a recorded duration. Reception’s updates are needed to confirm which enquiries resulted in bookings.

Creative delivery

40 graphics delivered.

September’s creative delivery supported a broader range of dental-care messages.

11

Priorities for the coming months.

The focus is on confirming enquiry outcomes, maintaining call handling and building on the stronger Meta results.

1
Clinic reception

Regular pipeline updates and follow-up.

Reception needs to check the Shoutout app regularly, confirm patient bookings and update pipeline stages. Priority checks are the 17 enquiries indicating readiness to book and the 4 needing further follow-up.

2
Clinic reception

Maintain phone coverage.

Consistent reception coverage and backup support remain important. The two calls without recorded duration need an outcome check so any outstanding enquiry receives a prompt callback.

3
Shoutout Digital

Google Ads enquiry quality and bookings.

Our focus is on how Google Ads enquiries progress to bookings, using reception’s updates in the Shoutout app to assess results beyond clicks.

4
Shoutout Digital

Build on the stronger Meta themes.

Our next creative tests focus on team introductions and clear treatment explanations, building on the more efficient carousel results. Phone enquiries and reception-confirmed bookings remain the measures beyond page views.
